I like Velvet Assassin because it it a game when you you have to use stealth to kill your enemies. The graphics look amazing and you don't keep doing similar things over and over like in assassin's creed. There are guns and weapons in the game too.
From what i have seen and read so far you are an assassin named Violette and you are going behind enemy lines to destroy a German war machine.
The plot is that she was born in Devon England. She was working in a salon but when the war began she moves to to London and joins the weapon industry. Soon she was noticed by the secret services. She is recruited into MI6. Violette had lost an aunt during one of the first Luftwaffe bombing attacks. She later lost her husband in battle. However, Violette was strong willed and used these painful experiences to inspire her to succeed as a spy for the MI6. Violette managed to carry out several missions successfully before being captured by the Germans. Dying in hospital, Violette relives key moments in a series of flashbacks. That's why a bulk of game play will take place during these flashbacks.
From what i have seen and read there is no multiplayer:(

About The Character
Alex Mercer woke up on a morgue slab seconds away from being dissected by two strange scientists. After killing the doctors, he escapes. As he escapes, he discovers that he has no memory of what has happened to him. He then discovers his powers, and seeks out for whoever, or whatever did this to him. It has been lately discovered that before becoming a biological weapon, Alex Mercer was a scientist for "Gentek", a medicinal company. He is 29 years old, weighs about 190 lbs. (most of the time - he can change his weight willingly) and is about 5'10.
His Powers
Alex can jump extremely high, run extremely fast and support incredible weights. He is able to track anyone, either by using his consuming or sensory powers. Alex has the ability to absorb anyone, He can control his mass, transforming himself into an arsenal of deadly weapons, like a five foot long blade-arm which releases a quarry of swift attacks, being able to cut steel and chop flesh, two pairs of razor sharp claws, which can be charged up for a "ground spike" attack, in which Alex can send his biomass tunneling underground and spray out into deadly spikes, and a spiky bio-whip that can stretch up to 20 feet. He can also make his forearms become as hard as steel. He can transform into anyone and access restricted areas if he is a soldier and also do things like call in an air strike( only if a soldier).
To me this game looks amazing so far, i cant wait until it comes out :D

we don't know too much about bio shock 2 yet but here is the plot:
Set ten years after the events of Bioshock a number of towns around the world have been reporting kidnappings of young girls by attackers described as "thin", with red lights often reported as either being worn by the attacker or spotted nearby in the sea. This single attacker, who is the Big Sister, one of the Little Sisters from the first entry in the series, has mechanized herself in a similar fashion to the Big Daddies — and has become the ruler of the underwater city of Rapture, which under her control has reached an equilibrium in which she "actively maintains the city's infrastructure, and viciously hunts anyone down who disrupts the balance of power".
